What We Doo
  • Crescenta Valley Pet Waste Removal will remove all animal waste from your yard on a scheduled, routine basis so you never have to scoop it up again.
  • We will visit your home or commercial property weekly or every other week.
  • There are no contracts at all. Start or stop service with a single call or e-mail.  All we need is permission to access your yard.
  • We access your lawn or other property in a way that ensures your dog will remain in the yard while prioritizing home safety.
  • We scoop all the waste your dogs leave behind in a professional manner and take it with us when we leave.
  • We clean our equipment between clients; there is no danger of cross-contamination between dog waste and yards.
  • We can serve as your second pair of eyes.  We’ll even fill water bowls if needed (with your prior permission.)  We will immediately inform you if we notice anything wrong or any potential problems.
  • We are confident and caring in our interaction with your animal or animals.  Owner Jeff Hamilton has seven years of experience working with animals, as a Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician, and is a pet owner himself.
  • We aim to serve!  Please check up on our service for the first few weeks to guarantee we have not overlooked your dog's favorite spots to evacuate in.  If you ever have any problems with our service, we will do all we can to make it right.

FAQ

How often do you come?
We offer weekly (1-5 times) or bi-weekly rates. We also offer one-time service calls for any occasion.  (Especially helpful before that big backyard BBQ, or when you move into a previously occupied home.)
Do we have to sign any kind of contract?
No, you can start or stop anytime you want.  Any unused days during the month will be pro-rated.  We will need permission to access your yard, and we'd like to know your preferences, but that's it.
Do we need to lock up the dogs or have them inside?
Not if you don't want to!  The option is yours; put them in the house or leave them in the yard, as you wish.  We bring along dog treats for your pet to make it easier to get acquainted.  Owner Jeff Hamilton has seven years of experience working with animals, as a veterinary assistant and veterinary technician, and will interact with your dog with love and confidence.  For everyone's safety, if you have an aggressive animal you may be asked to restrain him.
What do we do if we have to cancel or reschedule the service?
Call or e-mail us to change plans.

How do you know your yard was serviced?
We will leave a notice of service completed at your back door each time we come by.
Do I have to be home for the service?
No, although for the first visit it is best to meet with you and your pets so we can all get acquainted.  We want to make sure we know your preferences, in order to better serve you.  This is also a good time to make sure your pet won't mind us coming into his yard and will not need to be restrained.
Can I schedule my service for a particular day?
Yes. It can be scheduled for any day of the week, excepting Sundays (even pooper-scoopers need a day off.)  We recommend having it done a day before the lawn is mowed.
How will I be billed?
You will be billed for services rendered at the end of the month. We can send your bill via physical mail or E-mail, as you prefer.  Payment is due upon receipt of the bill. We accept personal checks or money orders sent through the mail, and will also accept cash if you prefer to pay in person.
What is done with the poop?

Your dog's waste is properly disposed of per county regulations. We do not simply throw it in your trash cans. We take that stinky stuff with us.
I normally lock my gate, is this a problem?
No problem!  You can leave your gate unlocked for our visit, or give us a key or the combination, as you prefer.
Is there an extra charge for the first time?
No.  We will assess your yard and location and charge you the same rate you will continue to be charged.  Additional fees do apply for one-time waste removal.
