FAQ
How often do you come?
We offer weekly (1-5 times) or bi-weekly rates. We also offer one-time service calls for any occasion. (Especially helpful before that big backyard BBQ, or when you move into a previously occupied home.)
Do we have to sign any kind of contract?
No, you can start or stop anytime you want. Any unused days during the month will be pro-rated. We will need permission to access your yard, and we'd like to know your preferences, but that's it.
Do we need to lock up the dogs or have them inside?
Not if you don't want to! The option is yours; put them in the house or leave them in the yard, as you wish. We bring along dog treats for your pet to make it easier to get acquainted. Owner Jeff Hamilton has seven years of experience working with animals, as a veterinary assistant and veterinary technician, and will interact with your dog with love and confidence. For everyone's safety, if you have an aggressive animal you may be asked to restrain him.
What do we do if we have to cancel or reschedule the service?
Call or e-mail us to change plans.
How do you know your yard was serviced?
We will leave a notice of service completed at your back door each time we come by.
Do I have to be home for the service?
No, although for the first visit it is best to meet with you and your pets so we can all get acquainted. We want to make sure we know your preferences, in order to better serve you. This is also a good time to make sure your pet won't mind us coming into his yard and will not need to be restrained.
Can I schedule my service for a particular day?
Yes. It can be scheduled for any day of the week, excepting Sundays (even pooper-scoopers need a day off.) We recommend having it done a day before the lawn is mowed.
How will I be billed?
You will be billed for services rendered at the end of the month. We can send your bill via physical mail or E-mail, as you prefer. Payment is due upon receipt of the bill. We accept personal checks or money orders sent through the mail, and will also accept cash if you prefer to pay in person.
What is done with the poop?
Your dog's waste is properly disposed of per county regulations. We do not simply throw it in your trash cans. We take that stinky stuff with us.
I normally lock my gate, is this a problem?
No problem! You can leave your gate unlocked for our visit, or give us a key or the combination, as you prefer.
Is there an extra charge for the first time?
No. We will assess your yard and location and charge you the same rate you will continue to be charged. Additional fees do apply for one-time waste removal.
